Bajaj Pulsar 160NS Spied For The First Time In India

Bajaj Auto had unveiled the much-awaited Bajaj Pulsar 160NS at a dealer meet in Turkey in December 2017. It was speculated that the motorcycle will be launched in India by early 2017, that didn’t happen. In fact, Bajaj has launched the 2017 Pulsar 150 in the country. Now, the motorcycle has been spotted testing for the first time on Indian roads. This further brings a new speculation that this bike could actually make its way to our market.

The all-new Pulsar 160NS sits on the modified Pulsar 150 platform, but it is considerably lighter than its sibling. The new model carries a kerb weight of 135kgs, which is 5kgs lighter than the 150NS. Bajaj is yet to confirm the launch of 160NS in India, but we expect the model to go on sale towards the end of 2017.

Powering the bike is a 160.3cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled triple spark engine coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. This powertrain churns out a maximum power output of 15.2bhp and a peak torque of 14.6Nm. As a reminder, the 150NS is propelled by a 149.5cc engine that is good for 17bhp and 13Nm of torque. It comes with an electric and kick start engine

Bajaj Pulsar 160NS Launch Date
