BS-IV Compliant Suzuki Hayate EP & Suzuki Let’s Launched
Aiming to update its 2017 line-up, Suzuki Motorcycle has introduced the new Hayate EP and Let’s scooter in India. While the 2017 Suzuki Hayate is priced at Rs 47,272, the automatic scooter is being offered at Rs 47,272 (for the monotone trim) and Rs 48,272 (for the dual-tone variant) ex-showroom, Delhi.
With the launch of these two products, Suzuki India’s entire product line-up becomes BS-IV compliant. Just so you know, the company has already updated its popular Gixxer series and Access 125 scooter with Bharat Stage IV (BSIV) and AHO features.
The 2017 Suzuki Hayate EP comes with the same 113cc, single-cylinder air-cooled BSIV engine, which is benefited with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology. This powertrain now features low friction cylinder & piston rings, Suzuki super sleek piston and high-ignition spark plug. Power and torque figures of the bike stand at 8.5bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.3Nm at 5,000rpm respectively.
Sitting a new diamond frame, the 2017 Hayate also gets AHO (Automatic Headlamps On) feature along with minor graphic updates. Features such as a 5-step adjustable rear shock absorber, maintenance-free battery and tubeless tyres are new add-ons. For colour options, the 2017 Suzuki Hayate EP is available with Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mira Red and Metallic Oort.
Coming to the 2017 Suzuki Let’s, the new model hearts a 112.8cc air-cooled engine with a CVT gearbox. Churning out 8.44bhp of power and 8.8Nm of torque, this motor now meets the BSIV emission norms. Feature-wise, the scooter gets AHO feature, dual colour meter console, central locking, tubeless tyres, maintenance free battery and telescopic suspension. The mobile charger and storage box come as optional offerings.
The 2017 model year is being made available in Pearl Mirage White shade, and three dual-tone colours – Pearl Suzuki Blue No2/Matte Black, Matte Grey/Matte Black and Pearl Mira Red/Matte Black.
