The company is currently selling three cars – Go hatchback, Go+ MPV and the redi-Go small car. Datsun’s next all-new product for the Indian market will be the Datsun Go Cross compact SUV, which was showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. It was speculated that the car will take at least 2-3 years to get into production form. Talking about styling, the compact SUV gets a distinctive front end featuring hexagonal radiator grille, sweptback LED head-lamps, LED fog lamps, plastic cladding and skid plates. Under the bonnet of the SUV will be a 1.2-litre petrol engine that also powers the Go twins. The company might also introduce the diesel powered SUV, which is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre dCi unit borrowed from the Nissan Micra.
