Tata Tigor StyleBack Launching Tomorrow
Tata Motors’ much-awaited StyleBack – Tigor – is all set to go on sale in the Indian market tomorrow. The company has already taken the Tata Tigor’s micro-site live, revealing its colour options. Bookings for the StyleBack have already started across the country at a token amount of Rs 5,000, while deliveries are expected to commence from April 2017. The Tigor is the third product under Tata’s IMPACT design philosophy and is based on its stellar hatchback Tiago.
Besides taking comprehensive design inspiration from Tiago, the Tigor additionally comes with a range of new tech features. It is longer, wider and taller than its sibling hatchback. In fact, the wheelbase has also been increased by up to 50mm, which contributes to its spacious cabin. Engine specs too shared with the Tiago – i.e. a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and a 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle also gets multi-drive modes- Eco and City. With Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze in its sight, the Tiago based subcompact sedan is expected to carry a lucrative price tag.
Tata Tigor India Launch Date
The much-awaited Tigor sub-compact sedan will be launched in the country tomorrow. Pre-bookings for the StyleBack are now open at a token amount of Rs 5000 across authorized Tata dealerships in India. While the bookings have already started from March 20, 2017 deliveries are likely to start from April.
